Caregivers' Day Out

The Caregivers' Day Out program at the Virginia Tillett Center on Thursdays from 9:30am until 1:00pm is going great! The Caregivers' Day Out program is held every Monday from 9:30am until 1:00pm at the Parks and Rec Center in Kill Devil Hills.  In a secure social setting, we engage your loved one that is living with dementia with activities including exercise, music, crafts/activities and presentations from local organizations.  This gives you, the caregiver the time to go and recharge, have coffee with a friend, walk on the beach, go to a doctor's appointment.  This is the time for the caregiver to take care of themselves while we engage our participants in meaningful, purposeful activities!  This program is FREE!!  For more information call Dianne Denny at 252-489-9508 or obxdfc@gmail.com
